If you have a soft spot for super cars or just like the beauty behind there style, well your in for a treat. Some of these stylish futuristic cars are available next year, feast your eyes on these babies:

Porsche 918 Spyder

porsche_918_spyder918 Spyder gives 78 mpg, with low emissions. It hits 62 mph in less than 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 198 mph. 500 break horse power with front and rear electric motors. According to Porsche “A prototype recently lapped the Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes 30 seconds (that’s quicker than the hallowed Carrera GT), proving it does more than just look pretty on the show stand”. This fantastic two seater car also has the added class of Porsche personalisation service.

Chevrolet Corvette C7

Chevrolet_Corvette_C7The launch of the Corvette expected in 2013. The car will remain a front engine rear transaxle coupe with a glass hatch. It is expected to weigh lighter giving a better power to weight ratio. The headlights are to be a bit narrower, side mirrors slightly bigger with more of a rounded edge. The quad exhaust tips are next to each other in the centre. This performance car will no doubt have the aerodynamics appropriate for such a super sports car.

Mazda RX-8

2013-Mazda-rx-8-rotaryWill this be the last car to have a rotary engine? Its been suggested that there’s a team of engineers currently working on a drastically improved version of the Renesis 2-rotor dubbed the 16x. It is also speculated that a newer version of the Rx-7 is to be explored being more lightweight and more affordable. The Mazda RX-8 is very attention grabbing and will be noticed, and although the suspension is firm its still comfortable to drive.

Lotus Elise

Lotus-Elise_2013Coming up to its 15th anniversary, the all new Elise should be launched in 2013. It is to be based on the Lotus Vertical Vehicle Architecture (VVA). This allows Lotus to develop a front-engine, rear drive car. Lotus suggests that the new aerodynamics will improve fuel economy.

BMW Vision Supercar

BMW_Vision_SupercarThe visions rear electric motor is from the 7 series activehybrid. BMW’s efficient dynamics concept adds to the Visions seductive styling, whilst the interior design is apparently meant to leave passengers as if they are ‘floating in the air’. This cars technology encourages the car to be fast, BMW claim it can touch 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds!! Unfortunately not out until 2015.
